Where do I begin?

I was never a believer -- I thought search engine position was just chance and luck of the draw. It used to be, back before Google came on the scene... but I was very slow to learn that. Tragically slow.

Now I know better. I've helped multiple sites jump to number one spots for certain search terms, and I have Chuck West at WebTamers.com to thank for it. He showed me the light. He unlocked the door. He gave me the red pill.

Naturally, I can't share all my new secrets with you. I get paid to optimize others' pages, so I need to know more than my potential clients. But I can give you some search engine rank tips if you can't afford an SEO guru like myself.

What's in a Title Tag. A quick primer in how to tell Googlebot what your page is about.
Pick Your Battles. How to determine which keywords are right for you... and which ones are not.
Don't Play It Again, Sam. Make each page unique, filled with useful content, or face the consequences.
Great Google Almighty. Obey every word that comes from the mouth of Google.

Hopefully these can get you started. If you want more tips than these, you'll need to find a more loosely-lipped search engine optimization guru -- or a Google employee willing to take a bribe. :)
