You gotta love Flash.
I've been playing with Flash since '98, and I never cease to be amazed at its capabilities. I've programmed games and chat clients, designed banners and cartoons, and I love Flash more with each new creation it allows me to build.
Below are some links to Flash games and other Shockwave media. Have a look-see.
Games & Toys
| DrawBlog DrawBlog allows you to draw with the mouse, then generates and saves your image as a JPG and hosts it for you. Need to diagram something during an online chat or on a message board post? Here's the solution. | |
| The Frosh The protagonist for a game I still haven't finished. He follows your mouse pointer, and when you click on the floor he'll walk over to it. An exercise in cartooning, but also in clever interaction. | |
| Schlock Billiards A game that I built but never fine-tuned: Schlock bounces his plasma beam around the room, billiards-style, to hit the evil F'Sherl-Ganni. What I'm actually MORE pleased with is the level editor that I built. Based on my brother's military humor comic strip, Schlock Mercenary. | |
| Graffiti A toy more than a game -- choose a nozzle and a color, and spray paint the wall to your delinquent heart's delight. | |
| Baby Keyboard Well, I guess this is a game -- I wrote it for my 9-month old daughter. (Click on the screen before starting.) You hit any key, and a circle pops up and makes a sound. | |
