My Web Design Portfolio

I'm a self-taught artist, designer, and programmer. While I did study computer science for a couple years before switching to film, all of my web programming knowledge was obtained through my own study -- and trial and error. I've been doing this since 1996 (which is almost the beginning of the World Wide Web, as you may recall), so I know what works. I can explain my choices to you, and give you documented evidence to back up my work.

I doubt you'll ask, though -- good design is good design, and even the untrained eye can see it. You know when you like a website. Below are a few sites that represent my work. If you're curious about what I can do on the back end of a website, check out my programming portfolio. You'll see some of the same sites, but with explanations as to how complex they really are.

Singlesaints.com Singlesaints was my first foray into the web with the goal of making money. Previous endeavors were hobby-sites; this time I was out for moo-la. This is the third version of the site that I started in 1999, and we are currently getting about 15-20 new members daily.	Singlesaints.com: LDS Singles
LevitateYoga.com Lots of nifty Flash stuff going on here that you won't get to appreciate fully, but the class schedule is dynamically loading from a text file, of all things, as is the boutique's inventory. I didn't do the design -- just the programming. If you don't like the color scheme, don't look at me. (Because I dress in that same color scheme, and it would bug you.)	Levitate Yoga, New York City
